SoftView Systems was incorporated in 1990 as a developer of application software for commercial variable-printing applications. SoftView Systems provides a series of software packages which complement and support the Ink-Jet printing equipment and technology of Scitex Digital Printing, Inc. and other variable printing technologies. We have considerable expertise in Windows-based PC graphics software and in many different types of commercial high-speed variable printing systems.

Timothy H. Archer is currently the president of SoftView Systems. Tim was one of the pioneers in applications of computer software to printing in the 1960's and has been developing software in conjunction with variable printing technologies since 1974. He worked for Mead Digital Systems on the development of the first array ink-jet systems and for Diconix/Kodak in the late 1980's when he was Chief Engineer on the 3600 Ink-jet Imager development team (the Mead Digital Systems company became Diconix and is now Scitex Digital Printing, Inc). |
